Our Impact

As a first-generation college student who began college during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I experienced a deep sense of loneliness that felt impossible to overcome. My TSN campus chapter helped move me from isolation, depression, and loneliness into a place of leadership, purpose, and healing. I was able to turn my battle with mental health into advocacy and be a voice for other students who’ve felt similarly.

Launch a support network on your campus

We provide the blueprint and advisory to launch an effective peer-to-peer support model with student Leaders, working jointly with administrators.

Get involved in other ways

Addressing an important issue like student mental health requires a team of dedicated, impactful individuals. TSN has passionate leaders working behind the scenes to help create an ever-growing peer Support Network, and we are always looking for others to help our efforts.

Wolverine Support Network Welcomes TSN to Campus

TSN Executive Director Caitlin Briody visited Wolverine Support Network (WSN) at the University of Michigan to kick off the semester, speak with peer facilitators about TSN's programming, and invite them to share their thoughts and ideas. She also took part in WSN's suicide intervention training, delivered by UM Assistant Director of Mental Health Promotion (and WSN alum) Kayla Douglas.
