BECAUSE LIFE HAPPENS

Improving student mental health & well-being

Our Mission

The Support Network empowers college students across the country to create an inclusive community and support each other’s identity, mental well-being, and day-to-day lives through peer-facilitated Weekly Groups and community events.

Our Impact

The Support Network has been partnering with universities and students across the nation to help build peer-to-peer support communities. Research shows that students provide the most potent source of influence on fellow students’ affective and cognitive growth and development during school.

Launch a support network on your campus

We provide the blueprint and advisory to launch an effective peer-to-peer support model with student Leaders, working jointly with administrators.

Get involved in other ways

Addressing an important issue like student mental health requires a team of dedicated, impactful individuals. TSN has passionate leaders working behind the scenes to help create an ever-growing peer Support Network, and we are always looking for others to help our efforts.

TSN Updates: September 2024

Badger Support Network (UW-Madison) was featured in a Daily Cardinal article about suicide prevention:

“As a freshman in a really big university, I was kind of struggling to find my own community,” Braico said. “BSN led me to that community, and I've stayed ever since because it's been so fun to meet new people, find that support, do community events and, of course, allocate for mental health in the bigger picture.”
